Hello October! The Happy Scrappers met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day here in Michigan and I'm not surprised that there were only three of us to quilt. I don't think Marti nor I sewed a stitch, but we socialized and talked to Mary G. while she did some sewing. And we walked around the shop and saw a lot of new items that I am eager to show you. Check out this wall hanging. It's perfect for this time of year. This Pumpkin Quilt
called Enormous was made by Melonie! Kits will be available. And these are some new fabrics. This is what Chris said: The crazy Cat In The Hat got caught in a web & went Batty. Haha!!! These three pieces would make an awesome pillowcase. Remember last month when Chris showed us how to make this quilt with two colors of fabric? Well, some creative person at the shop used the same design and made it using her scraps. It is really an eye catcher. I can't wait to try this one! There are some new panels in the shop, too. This above is adorable. And these are the coordinating fabrics. And here is another winter themed panel. You could embroidery it or paint it. Notice the recipes on the bottom.
And these are the coordinating fabrics.
The Attic Window Quilt Shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5, and Saturday, 10-4. Stop in and get some of the new fabrics. You won't want to miss them!!
