We had such a great time that day as a number of us enjoyed sewing, and catching up with fellow quilters as to what they had been up to. Above, JanaLee irons fabric for one of the projects she was working on.
Pat and Val joined us for the fun filled day!
Karen was busy making these blocks! How pretty.
Nancy shows one of the many blocks she made that day. I didn't learn what she was making, but I love the fabrics, so it is sure to be awesome.
LeeAnne was busy making pinwheels.
Above she shows me what one will look like. Love those fabrics!
I guess I forgot to take a picture of what I was working on. Really, that is best because it's for a gift. Actually, I spent all day doing hand sewing. I think that's why I love applique so much. I have something to do with my hands while I'm watching TV or gabbing to friends.
Don't forget, the Happy Scrappers meets the last Saturday of the month. Everyone is welcome. Bring a project to work on. Hope to see you there in April.

Hello Quilters! I hope this notice is not too late. I've been so busy quilting Charity quilts on my Long Arm that I forgot to send this notice. I just wanted to remind everyone that this coming Saturday, March 25th, is the last Saturday of the month. What does that mean? It means that the Happy Scrappers meets at the Attic Window Quilt Shop! It's when you can spend all day quilting and talking to your quilting friends.
Everyone is welcome. Bring a project to work on. Hope to see you there.

There were only three of us that day, but I had such a great time sewing and catching up on what everyone has been doing. We've been so isolated here recently with this snowy weather, that it was wonderful to be able to get out of the house and talk to my quilting friends. Above, Lee Anne and I shared a table and enjoyed talking away!
I hope the weather is better next month and you all can get out and enjoy Happy Scrappers with us. Remember, the Happy Scrappers meet at the Attic Window Quilt Shop on the last Saturday of the month.

Hello quilters! I've been busy quilting on quilts that will be given to charity. What have you been doing? It's snowing here in Michigan and I love that I don't have to go outside in the cold. But I will be going out on Saturday, the last Saturday of the month. This is a reminder that the Happy Scrappers meet this coming Saturday, February 22, at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Everyone is welcome. Bring a project to work on. Hope to see you there.

Hello Quilters! Two things that I want to tell you today. First of all, I want to tell you about the new class that Marilyn is teaching at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. On Wednesday, Feb. 26th, Marilyn will be teaching a Slice Em/Dice Em class. Above, is a picture of the finished quilt! It is lovely. Just bring your precuts and scraps and join Marilyn and Chris for a day of easy and fun blocks and learn a new technique or two.
The class is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is just $20. Call the Shop for more details and a supply list and to register.
Now for the second thing I want to tell you. I finally got the calendar on the sidebar. Check it out. You will enjoy the classes, open sews, stitch-in and Bees.

I thought I would show the various Happy Scrappers working throughout the shop. LeeAnne is busy ironing her project on one of the ironing stations in the shop.
And here is Penny at the large cutting table. It is so handy to have what you need near by. Not only can you purchase the thread, fabric, and other notions that you might need, but it is so nice to have a place to spread out your project and cut, or whatever you need to do.
And, last but not least, Penny shows us her latest quilt. She is donating it to Charity. So cute!!
Don't forget to stop by the Blog soon, as I want to show you some of the latest fabrics in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. I'll try to get it up by tomorrow.
And don't forget, the Happy Scrappers meet the last Saturday of every month. It is open to all. Just bring a project to work on.
Also, Saturday, January 25th, is the first meeting in 2025 of the Happy Scrappers! So bring your project and come sew with us. There is nothing like sewing with quilting friends!!!
Plus, even if you don't sew that day, you will want to come take advantage of the Sale. And when you do, be sure to say Hi to all of the Happy Scrappers who will be there sewing that day.
Hope to see you there!
