HAPPY SCRAPPERS MEET AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

Hello Quilters!  The Happy Scrappers met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop this past Saturday and they have been productive.  Above, Marti shows us what she is working on now.
Marti has been busy! She  makes the most beautiful bags.  I love the one above!!
This is the other side of that bag.  It's stunning!

This is the book that has the pattern for the blocks Marti is making (shown above).

And, this is another bag  that Marti made.  She is awesome!

Patty is making this Cancer Survivor quilt for dear friend.   How wonderful she is!!!
Jane was busy making another quilt. This one is for a neighbor boy.   I love this one with the Little Engine That Could!
Penny ran home and brought back her husband to fix Cathy's (above) little sewing machine!  What a life saver she was that day!  She gets a special award for her kindness!
Above, Nancy shows  us the block she made today.  These blocks are 2.5 inches!  Wow!  No wonder she's decided to make it into a table topper!

You have to see this.  It is adorable.  This is what Penny worked on today.

Above, Penny shows us her almost finished project.  She said it is a bag for one of her relatives to store his toys in.  So cute!!

JanaLee shows us what she worked on today.  Another charity quilt. She is a worker!!!
She also showed us another quilt that she finished and had quilted.  It is wonderful!  As I recall she said that this goes to charity.  Any Child or adult will love this quilt!

And, this is what I worked on today.   I read on-line about using adding machine tape and sewing your scraps to it.  What a great idea.  I'll use it as a boarder! And finally get rid of some of those very small and odd shaped fabrics!!

Don't forget, the Happy Scrappers meet the last Saturday of the month.   Everyone is welcome. Bring a project to work on. Hope to see you there in August.

THE HAPPY SCRAPPERS HAVE A FUN DAY

The Happy Scrappers met Saturday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop!

I realize it was close to the holiday and people were either on vacation already or getting ready to leave, and I wondered if anyone would come today.  But Val and Jane were there and we had a wonderful time sewing and gabbing and snacking on the great Brownies that Jane made for us!  Thank you Jane.  Above is Jane showing us what she worked on that day.   It's going to be a lovely quilt and, I can't wait to see it finished and quilted.  She said it is for charity.

And above is Val.  She is so sweet!  She brought me lots of thread to use when quilting the charity quilts!  And gave me a book of patterns.  Can't wait to start those, but that will have to wait for when I have some time.  Those gals at the charity group have been keeping me busy doing long arm quilting!  I love it!

This is a close up of the panel Val is working on.  Look closely and see all the very tiny stitches she is making!  It is awesome!

Don't forget, the Happy Scrappers meet the last Saturday of the month.   Everyone is welcome. Bring a project to work on. Hope to see you there in June.
