NEW AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

No, this is not a box of crayons and it is not a box of chalk.  This is a box of Fabric Colors by Riley Blake.  The box is filled with ten fat quarters.

You can make a Color My World Quilt with the beautiful crayola fabric inside.  A pattern is on the back of the box. Gotta have one of these!  You can get them at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.

New fabric has arrived at the Attic Window.  Above is Quilt Camp by Henry Glass & Co.

Isn't this precious!  This is also by Henry Glass & Co. and the line is called I Love You This Much.

ANOTHER SLASH YOUR STASH AND HS

The Slash Your Stash class was held Wednesday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop followed by sewing with the Happy Scrappers.  Above are the two blocks that Adrienne made.  Love her colors.

 Vickie S. worked on these place mats.  I love them.  She was trying out the new circle ruler that is in the shop.

This is a close up of one of her place mats.  Watch for an upcoming class when Vickie will show us how to use the new ruler and how to make these beautiful place mats.

 I worked on making some Bee blocks.

I must have done a whole lot of gabbing because it took me all day to get these two blocks completed.  Yikes.

HAVE YOU TRIED MAKING THIS?

Diana's English Paper Piecing Bee was Tuesday afternoon at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above, is what Julie B. has been working on.  This is just one of the medallions in her Millefiori quilt.  She has spent a lot of time and thought, planning and sewing in creating this piece.  Notice the intricate fussy cutting she has done.  I can't wait to see this quilt finished!

Marilyn shows us this piece she is working on.  Love the fussy cutting done here too.

There were others at the Bee and I thought I had taken more pictures of their wonderful projects, but I must have gotten sidetracked when Pat A. showed us her latest finish.  It is stunning!

This is a closeup of one of her blocks.  This is a great way to use your scraps.  When I asked her more about this quilt, Pat said that each strip is 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" .  You start by placing two strips together.  Place a strip on each end and work around from there.  She said her blocks end up at 10 1/2" but you can make your block any size you want.  I can't wait to get started working on my scrap stash!  Thanks Pat for the info.
