WE HONOR THESE WOMEN

Kudos go to: Yvonne, Mary T., Fran, Joan, Mary Ellen, Barb, Lee Ann, Nancy, Mary.
.
Many thanks and much appreciation goes to the above women who work diligently each month to make quilts for those in wheel chairs. Truly, these are women of grace and charm. They contribute their time and talents to make these quilts with donated fabrics, battings, and threads. One of them said, “It’s just our way of giving back to our community.” Recently 73 of their quilts were distributed to the Michigan Veteran’s Facility, Blodget Hospital, and Mary Free Bed Hospital. The group meets the second Monday of the month at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Anyone who wants to participate is welcome to join. If you would like to make a donation, please bring it to the shop. Thanks again to these very special women.
.
Mrs. Schmenkman has a fantastic butterfly block tutorial.

The Painted Quilt will have a Raggedy and Friends BOM. Look for it on her blog after July 20th.

Until next time,
Caroll
