REINDEER GAMES

It’s nearly that time…time to let the games begin!  Barb of Bejeweled Quilts and I invite all of you to play a game with us.  On May 11th, we will be hosting the start of the Reindeer Games. Every other week Barb and I will post a free pattern of a reindeer.  Barb will be showing you how she did her pattern in appliqué.  Above, you can see that I did mine in redwork.  The “game” is that we will post a pattern every other week for nine weeks.  However, there are eleven patterns in all.  Some weeks Barb and I will post the same patterns and show you how different each will look in our various styles.  However, some weeks we will each post a different pattern.  The “game” will be for you to collect all eleven patterns, but you’ll have to go to both blogs every other week to make sure you get them all.  We hope you enjoy playing along with us. Check out Barb's blog today.  I think she is posting a picture of her applique quilt.  Barb has also set up a Flicker Group here so you can share your blocks with us.  I think it will be fun to see what everyone is doing.  Feel free to grab our button for your blog to make sure your readers don’t miss out on this fun event!  Stop back on May 11th and Let the Games Begin!

In the meantime, you might like to check out Color Scheme Designer.  You’ll not only love it, but you’ll spend a lot of time there.  Check it out.

Stay calm! Stay kind! Stay Positive!

Fun! Thanks for offering it in two versions, too. I posted about it on quiltbom.com, using your description.

Oh my goodness--I've been looking for the perfect witches feet to make a quilt with hats and shoes/boots on shelves (for Halloween) and you have a free one! Thanks!

Hi Carol....luv the redwork reindeer. I will definitely do the redwork. I tried to post your reindeer button on my blog but the link doesn't seem to be working. I copied Barb's button and it works. Thank for hosting the Reindeer Games with Barb....sounds like a lot of fun. Pauline from Canton Michigan.

How fun! Caroll, these are so cute! I will collect but may not be able to start it yet. Gotta finish some other embroidery first!
