Thursday evening I attend the Knotty Girls Stitching Bee at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. I have some nice show-n-tells for you. Above, is the beautiful wool wall hanging that Sherri is working on. It is a Sue Spargo pattern.
This is a close up of the intricate stitching embellishment. It is awesome!
Marci is working on this Starburst pattern. I love the colors in this block.
Jo Ann said her daughter made this stunning wall hanging. The quilting on it is something to see.
This is the back of the quilt showing the wonderful quilting.
Above is a close up so you can better see what I’m talking about. This quilt could be reversible because the back with this multicolored quilting looks as beautiful as the front!
This is such a wonderful group of women who are willing to share a part of themselves. Jo Ann brought a fantastic dip for all of us to try. And Maggie told us how she creates her gourmet dishes using herbs from her garden and various vinegars that she has purchased. We begged her to write it all down for us as it all sounded so yummy and too involved for us to remember. She said she would do us one better and bring us a dish to sample. Yeah! Of course, we are holding that date secret so we can get first samples.
This is a great site for yardage and block requirements for various mattress sizes. Check it out here.
Sew Mama Sew had a tutorial for a wallet to tote. Check it out.

Wow is all I can say about that quilting! What a beautiful quilt!
I like the name of the group. Knotty Girls is an unexpected name.
I am surprised to see that the star block is applique. Pretty colors.
What treats for the eyes, Is it Halloween in June? That top one is especially lovely to me!!!!! Thanks for sharing.
I love every one of these quilts! Wow! I love anything Sue Spargo, and I think that second one is an Edyta Sitar pattern. I love all the quilting on the next one. So cool!
Oh my - what beautiful work! That quilting -- I swooned!
Hi there
The Sue Spargo pattern that your friend Sherri is making. Is it from one of her books or a pattern that she bought?
I haven't been able to see any of Sue Spargo book yet and was wondering if they have the instructions for the embroidered stitches in the books and patterns?
Thanks for sharing.
