HAVE YOU LEARNED THIS TECHNIQUE?

I’d like to introduce you to Barb, the newest teacher at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Barb teaches a very special technique.  See the basket she is holding?  Barb makes these beautiful Clothesline Wrapped baskets that you may have seen in the shop lately.
This is a close up of one of the baskets she made.  Though you will not make one of these large items while in class, you will learn the technique so that you will leave class with the knowledge of how to make one.  These colorful baskets, bags, bowls, coasters, or place mats are made using fabric and cotton clothesline.  Barb’s next class is Tuesday, November 13th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Call the shop to register and for a supply list.

On Another Note: Seven Layer Studio has a Mini Wallet Tutorial.

Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!

I tried it once, several years ago. It was interesting. It's a neat technique. I never finished my project. What do you know....

I have seen these clothesline wrapped bowls and bags made by some gifted sewers. They look tedious to me. The pumpkin bag is as sweet as can be. Love it. Thank you for the great link.

Have a super great sewing and stitching day.
