Of course, then I had to make something for their sisters, so I made pencil bags that looked a little more feminine and not so scary. I didn’t think they’d like monsters.
Above you can see the lining in them. These were all so fun to make. I’m getting excited about Christmas, are you? Drop me a line and let me know what items you are making for gifts this year.

Those are all so cute! I love them and the linings, too! I'm not going to do too much sewing this year. No time. I will make some gifts for my secretaries and my work studies. We'll see if I get all that done. LOL.
Adorable! I'm making bags and ornaments for gifts.
Love those Little Monsters, want to make a couple of those too! I started sewing for Christmas markets this weekend (if I had known before...)--5 of my 2-zip purses sewn and 8 more cut, two already *sold* before they´re sewn, can´t keep people out of my sewing room! And after those...we´ll see, several ideas and many of them came from you Caroll, thank you for so many links to fresh, fun projects!!! Hugs, Bobbi
How cute are these pencil pouches! The little ones will love them! Thank you for sharing and for the links.
Have a super great sewing and stitching day! Have a super great Thanksgiving!
Caroll, your pencil bags are so adorable! Especially the little monsters. I was wishing you'd unzipped them a little to get their true personality. I loved these when I saw them on Daryl's blog.
