2014 SAMPLER CLASS AT ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

The First Saturday Sampler Class was held this past weekend at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above are the blocks we will be working on this month.  Each participant receives a kit of their choice of fabrics and makes the block which will be shown during next month’s Class.
We had some great Show-n-Tell.  Above Julie shows her finished Stack N Whack quilt.  She recently took a class with Carolyn E at the shop and this beautiful quilt is the end result!
Julie also made this darling table topper or wall hanging.  She did the FMQ herself.
Judy R. made several table runners.  This is so nice for the holiday season.
Judy also made this beautiful runner.  As I recall she said she used the 60 deg. ruler.
Judy also made this adorable runner.  I have to say what her grandson said about a recent quilt she sent him, “The stitching is insane!” ;o)   On another note:  Notice those tulipsKaye brought them in to brighten up the shop.  They sure have me thinking spring.  What a nice thing to do!
Judy D. showed us her latest finished project.  So cute!
Above, Vickie D. shows us her latest finish.  It is a gift for a new baby.  Love those colors!
During the Bee that followed class, Jill worked on this paper pieced star.  She said she was having trouble with it, but I think it looks perfect.  It is for the front of a bag she is making.

UP COMING EVENTS AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP:
