HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE ROW BY ROW EXPERIENCE?

How would you like to go on a shop hop that requires no passports and no fees?  You can do that this summer whether you plan to travel across the US and/or Canada or just travel here in Michigan.  You simply visit any of the participating quilt shops when you travel with your family or friends.

You probably wonder what’s in it for me?  Not only will it be fun, but you can win prizes and get free patterns like the one above.  Each shop has a free unique pattern that you will receive just for visiting the shop.  If you create a quilt using at least eight different rows and are the first to bring it into a participating shop, you can win a stack of 25 fat quarters (6-1/4 yards of fabric!). Use that shop’s row in your quilt and win a bonus prize!  For example, make one of your eight rows using the free pattern from the Attic Window Quilt Shop (like the row above), and your quilt is finished (quilted, bound, labeled) and you are the first to turn it in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and you get a bonus prize.

You can find out what shops are participating by going to the Row By Row website and clicking on the license plate for the state you are going to visit.  You will also find out more about this fun shop hop.
This is another look at the Attic Window row.  Above, Chris has added some words…."Peeking Snowman" and "Is it Spring yet?"  Remember you can get the free pattern and kits will also be available to purchase.
  • Travel and collect rows:  July 1 - September 2, 2014
  • Bring in completed quilt for prize:  July 1 - October 31, 2014

Until next time,

Generosity has no bounds. Above are the women in the Quilts For Kids group at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Left to right, Henrietta, Phyllis, Nancy, Carol, Karen. These women donate their time, fabric, money once a month to make quilts for kids who have cancer.
