SOMETHING BRIGHT AND NEW

When I walked into the Attic Window Quilt Shop this past weekend and saw this, I thought, Wow!
Vickie S. made these samples for the shop.  The pattern is from the book Modern Twist.  I'm hoping she will have a class on how to make these stunning pieces.
Vickie S. also made this adorable Snowman Quilt.  She said the pattern is from Bird Brain designs.  I don't think this particular pattern is in the shop, but...
There are a lot of similar snowmen patterns in the book Snow Parade by Carb-apple Hill.  You can find it at the shop.
Misti sent me a picture of her latest table topper.  It is so sweet!  Thanks Misti for sharing.
I forgot to show you what I worked on Saturday at Happy Scrappers.  Lynn of Alamosa Quilter is having a Goose On the Loose quilt along.  You can learn about it here.  I made these two three-inch blocks (Yes 3").  When I exclaimed that this was a great way to use those small scraps, Cathy said she thought scraps that small were meant for the trash bin.  LOL  I must admit, I'm not used to working with pieces this small.  It was a challenge and I'm not sure how many of these I will be making.  It is paper pieced so that helps.

Wow that Modern Twist quilt is BRIGHT! Love your geese, but you can keep the 3", lol! How much snow are you supposed to get?

Your little wild and goosey units look great! Never fear, most of the other blocks call for much larger geese.
