WEDNESDAY WONDERS

Want to learn Twilling?  Above is the block for the Ruby Short McKim BOM being offered at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  During the monthly meetings for this BOM the pattern being offered is Ruby's Flower Baskets.  Occasionally guest teachers will provide techniques for hand embroidery, machine applique, adding color to flowers and more.  This month Lee Anne will show you how to use the Twilling stitch to make this block.

Recently, Colleen stopped in at the Attic window Quilt Shop and showed us this adorable quilt.
This is a close up of a few of the blocks on Colleen's quilt.  She said the pattern is from the book Farm Girls Vintage.
While at the shop on Monday I noticed this Hexagon wall hanging/table topper that Vickie S. made.  It is stunning.  I bet she could be talked into having a class on how to make this!
Misti sent me a few pictures of what she has been up to.  She made this darling book bag.  It is applique and she said the base fabric is linen.  So cute!  She said this bag was from a kit.
This is a second book bag that Misti made using fabrics from her stash.  What great gifts they will make!
Misti is also participating in a BOM and this is the block she just finished.   I'm not sure the name of the BOM she is participating in, but it sure looks like the block for this month's Pat Sloan's My Secret Garden.  Nice job, Misti.
