This is a closeup. Val said that it is a king size quilt that she made for her son. When I asked her how long it took her to make it, she said that she worked on it for eight hours a day for about six to nine months. As she talked about making the quilt I could tell that a lot of thought went into creating this beauty.
This is the back of the quilt where you can see the wonderful quilting. It was quilted by Joan Kracker.
Jill had this adorable baby quilt to show us.
During the day, Jill worked on making the above block.
She placed several of the blocks together so we could get an idea of how the quilt is going to look like.
Rosa worked on completing this Retreat bag.
This is a closeup of the front of the bag. It is going to be a beautiful bag! You can get the pattern at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.
It was so nice to see everyone Saturday after such a long absence. We meet again this coming Wednesday. Hope to see you there.
