ANOTHER YEAR ANOTHER BAG

Happy 2018!  And let the fun begin!  Above is my first project of the year.  I made this bag (like I need another bag)!  I love the fabric and have had the pattern for over a year, so this weekend when couped inside the house, I decided to try something new.
Did you notice the zipper on the outside in the first picture?  Inside there is another zipper pocket.  Normally I cringe when even thinking about inserting a zipper.  However, this pattern makes it easy!
This is another view of the inside pockets.  The pattern is BB Bags by Brookshier Design Studio and comes in three different sizes with five pockets each.  I know some people do not like binding, which is used on the outside of this bag.  However, I don't mind it and this binding went on easily and I think gave it a nice finished look.  Besides, another great feature of this pattern, there is no turning inside out.  You just sew the sides together and add the binding.  Great!

I missed seeing all my quilting friends at the Attic Window Quilt Shop during the busy holidays.  I hope to see everyone at the Bees in The Attic Bee Hive on Wednesday, Jan. 3.
