We were so glad to see Adrienne back from her winter stay in her homeland of New Zealand. Above she shows what she worked on that day.
However, after making her strips, she found all these blocks in the bottom of her box. Now, she remembers she made these before she left to go home. We all got a good laugh at that.
This is what she plans on her quilt looking like.
Marilyn showed us this tee shirt dress that she is making for her granddaughter. If you are interested in a class, give the shop a call.
Marilyn also showed us this little quilt that her seven-year-old granddaughter is making Look how all the seams match! She's going to make a great Quilter.
This is new hanging on the wall at the shop. Vickie S. made it as a sample for the Sampler class she is teaching. Love these colors.
And this is what I made. It took me all morning and most of the afternoon to make it. I'm rethinking my desire to make dozens of these for a border. The pattern is the book Quilting Row By Row by Jeanette White & Erin Hamilton. There are two beautiful bonus projects in the back of the book, one with these flowers for the border. And this is a great pattern for using up those small scrap pieces that you've been saving. Like I say, I'm thinking about it.
Right now I'm making more Fold It Hold It Bags for our charity project. You can read about it in yesterday's post.

What great projects, I love your flower!!!
Great inspiration here, Caroll. Adrienne’s quilt project is going to look great. I love her fabric selections. Funny finding the started blocks at the bottom of her box. LOL. Cute T-Shirt dress for little girls. Yay for the 7 year old beginning to quilt! I used to teach sewing to children and that’s the age I started them at. Love your great flower block. I don’t know that I’d want to make very many of them either. Maybe a few easy improve blocks between the flowers. Or grassy long triangles between. Looking forward to seeing what you decide.
