THIS WOMAN HAS A HEART OF GOLD

The Happy Scrappers met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop today.  Above is Mary Wavio and I'd like to honor her today.  A couple of months ago Kathy M. asked us to make bags for her to fill with personal items to give to the Open Heart Program.  You can read about hit here. Last month Mary got the pattern and made a bag.  But that's not the end of it.
Today she brought not one, not two, but 37 finished bags ready to be filled and go to the Open Heart Program.  But that's not all.
Over the past month she has collected personal items to go into the bags.  Lots and lots of items.
This is one of the bags that we filled with some of Mary's items.  This woman has a heart of gold.  She has inspired us all to get busy and help others.

Thanks you so much Mary.  You are a wonderful friend with a great big heart.  I'm sure women-in-need will be grateful for your kindness.  Quilters are the best!!
