THREE YEARS AND DONE!
My friend, co-worker, and customer at the Attic Window Quilt Shop sent me a picture of her latest quilt. Misti said that it took her three years to finish it and it is finally finished. Misti participated in Rebecca Mae Designs quilt along that I think started in 2016.
I love this quilt and am amazed at all the work that goes into each block. Misti said this was the block that gave her the most trouble.
She also said this was her favorite. I love the message...Have Courage.
Thanks so much Misti for sharing your quilt with us. You did a fantastic job on this and I can't get over how much work was involved. Congratulations!

QUILTING IS HER BUSINESS
When recently at the Attic Window Quilt Shop, I ran into Laurie who had some quilts that she had just quilted. I convinced her that others would like to see these lovely quilts. Above, Laurie shows us the first one.
This one is unique because it is reversible. This is the front, and...
This is the back. How cute!
This is the last one. I don't know who made the quilts. Laurie is a professional quilter and had just finished these for a customer. Her business is MI Beautiful Quilting. You can contact her at MIBeautifulQuilting@gmail.com or give her a call at 616.745.3337.
Thanks for sharing with us Laurie.

ARE YOU READY FOR CHRISTMAS?
Are you ready for Christmas? The Attic Window Quilt Shop is decorated and ready for you to visit and do your shopping, maybe pick up those last minute gifts or supplies.
This lovely table runner greets you as you enter the shop.
You can find the pattern in this book, "Stitches From The Yuletide.
Aren't these little ornaments adorable?
Marilyn made this cute little basket. Look at all the goodies filling it. What a great idea for you to make and fill with gifts for your loved ones.
And don't forget the tree! It's all decked out too.
Check out this beautiful tree skirt. I bet you can find the pattern in the shop. It may be too late for this year, but think about how great it will look warped around your tree trunk next year.
Also, you will find Diana's beautiful pillows on the chair as you enter the shop. What a nice gift they would make.
Not only will you find lots of other Christmas items throughout the shop, but there are new books in also. Be sure and check them out.

THE BEGINNING QUILTERS
Have you taken a Beginning Quilting Class? Michelle, a professional photographer, moved to Michigan from another state and decided to start quilting. Above, she shows us the pillow she made during the Beginning Quilting Class that Chris teaches at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.
Ramona Jo shows us her quilt pillow top, waiting for its pillow insert.
Above, Joannie is sewing the binding on her pillow quilt top.
Elaine shows us her pillow top. After she finishes the binding, it's ready for the pillow insert.
These women are to be commended for their work. For beginning quilters, they did a fantastic job. All the points are there and everything looks square and the piecing super!

HAPPY SCRAPPERS MEET AT ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP
This quilt is made with the squares and strips above and Mary also added the 6 1/2" x 2 1/2" rectangles.
Then she made this block.
And here you can see how she put them together. You can twist and turn the blocks any way you want.
Since most of us had not cut the 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangle, we used what we had to make our blocks. Above, Cathy shows us how her blocks look together.
Janalee shows us her block.
I think Lee Anne was making blocks too but I didn't get a picture. I think I got distracted by all the giggling going on at that table. I had to ask what was so funny. I guess Yvonne wondered why her machine was clunking all of a sudden. Above you can see why. She sewed her insurance card to her fabric. What a hoot.
Yvonne was making this bag for our charity group.
Yvonne did show us her latest quilt top. I asked her to bring us the size of her blocks because this would be a wonderful way to use your scraps.
Mary came in this morning with 20 more of these bags for DeGage. A special thank you to Mary for sharing all her knowledge with us today. She showed us how to make and assemble the various blocks and showed us how to make these bags. She is a special lady.
PS: Some readers asked for instructions for assembling the blocks. If things are not clear here, let me know.

CRAFT DAY PICTURES
As promised, today you will see all the beautiful items we made on Craft Day at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Above, Marilyn helps us choose fabrics for the scarf that she showed us how to make. You can see the scarf I made in yesterday's post.
Next, Diana showed us how to make this wonderful bag.
Our bags got a little wrinkled as we turned them and Diana showed us how to get those wrinkles out.
Above a participant shows us her finished bag.
Of course, we had plenty of food. Everyone brought a dish to pass. Oh, my, did we eat good!
Next, Diana showed us how to make a key fob.
Above, Cathy holds her key fob up for us to see.
Then Chris showed us how to make an adorable Snowman Mug Rug.
I love this one that I made.
Participants gather around while Chris explains our fifth project.
We had a choice to make either the above table runner and table topper from this fabric.
Or we could make them with the above fabrics. Or...
We could make this table runner.
A special thank you to Chris for hosting Craft Day and providing us with all the kits for these fantastic projects, and having such great teachers there to help guide us, and for giving us each a nice gift of a pencil, two fabrics, and lots and lots of chocolate, and a wonderful time.
