This is a closeup of one of the blocks. It was a fun project, and felt good to get something finished. I think I got some dopamine when I checked this one off!
Making that table runner was my first time making a log cabin block. It was fun, but I think it will be more fun using foundation paper to make the block. Come to Happy Scrappers on Wednesday, Nov. 13, and Chris will provide us with the paper to make a log cabin paper pieced block. All you need to do is bring your 1 1/2" scraps of various lengths. It should be a fun project and if you haven't done paper piecing before, maybe you can learn a thing or two.
I haven't decided whether I'm going to go with the bright fabrics on the left, or use all pinks. Whatever, it should be a fun time. Everyone is welcome!

Ooh Caroll that turned out fabulous!!!! I love making log cabin blocks - I don't trim them to length, just slice off whatever doesn't belong, lol. My favorite way of making. Those fabrics are wonderful!!!
