A SEW BLUESY WEEKEND AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

I stopped in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop this past Saturday to take pictures.  I knew there was a lot of sewing going on this weekend.  I wanted to attend the Sew Bluesy sleep at home retreat, but wasn't feeling up to it.  I knew there would be lots of beautiful projects and couldn't resist getting some pictures.  Above is the beautiful quilt that Vickie D. had just finished.
This is Vickie peeking over the top of her quilt.  What a stunning quilt.
Mary Ann finished this beautiful panel.  It is awesome!
Karen finished this flannel quilt.  Looks so warm and cozy.
Then Karen started working on this Mondo Bag for a friend.  I love the black and white colors.
Dee was working on this beautiful quilt.  I think she called it her Indigo quilt.
Jill was busy getting ready for St. Patrick's Day.  How cute!
Lee Anne was busy making a quilt for her Grand Daughter who didn't have time to make it herself because she is going to law school.  I think Lee Anne is happy to do it.
Marilyn showed us this quilt that she just finished.  It is from a BOM class that she was teaching at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.
This is a close up of the pretty little bow on the corners.  I love this quilt!

Marti was leaving as I arrived.  She said she had a ball and that Chris said she'd be having more sleep at home retreats in the future.  I hope so!!!

ATTENTION:  The March Calendar should be out soon but I want to tell you to mark your calendar now for National Quilt Day on Saturday, March 21. If you've ever wanted to do the pineapple block, along with foundation piecing, stop in at the Shop between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on that day and you can try the new Pineapple Quilt Block on Easy Foundation Paper.  Also included are snacks and stitching and fun!  Kits will be available for $5 and a chance to win a goodie bag!  DON'T Forget National Quilt Day and a Perfectly Pineapple Day!
