HAPPY SCRAPPERS AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

All week long I looked forward to sewing with my friends at the Happy Scrappers meeting at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  However, on Saturday I was beginning to think was going to be sewing alone as it seemed that everyone was on the Shop Hop.  Jill, who works at the shop, came in and sewed with me until things got busy.  She showed me this stunning quilt (shown above) that she had just finished.  It is really awsome!  And it was so nice to talk to her as it had been a while since we had been able to do that.

Then, finally, other Happy Scrappers began to arrive.  Above is Adrienne with an arm full of scraps.  She is really a fun quilter and she shares her scraps with us all, which is wonderful since her fabrics are so different from mine.  I love experimenting with them.

And look at these beautiful, bright squares that she is making out of those scraps.  Can't wait to see this quilt!

And Vicki joined us.  Vicki teaches at the shop and is an excellent quilter with lots of helpful ideas.

Vicki was busy making bee bocks and flower blocks.  I can't wait to see this quilt.  Flowers are my favorite!

Mark your calendar now for Saturday, April 30 for the next Happy Scrappers meeting.  All are welcome to join us.  Some have expressed an interest on a meeting of the Happy Scrappers during the week.  If  a midweek session would work better for you please let me or Chris know and we will add that to the calendar.

Don't forget to stop in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and see all the new books, fabrics and notions.

The Attic Window Quilt Shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5; Saturday, 10-4.

Hugs, Caroll
