THE HAPPY SCRAPPERS HAVE BEEN BUSY

The Happy Scrappers met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop this past Saturday and we have so much to show you .  These first two photos are of charity quilts that Janalee and Jane made.
I'm not sure where these quilts will go after they are bound.  I know that some of them go to Kids Without Beds.  This is such a wonderful group of women.
And that Jane is so loving and thoughtful.  She was busy making pillowcases for members of the armed forces that are on ships.  Jane heard that Chris had a granddaughter in the Navy so she gave this pillowcase to her to give to her granddaughter.  I wish I had gotten a closeup of this fabric.  It's so appropriate. And I apologize to Jane because she made a lovely quilt with cats and dogs on it and apparently I got so involved with the show-n-tell that I forgot to take a picture!

And LeeAnne (left) made this fantastic quilt for her grandson!  Janalee (right) is helping her hold it up.  This quilt is something to see.  There are thousands of very small pieces and the workmanship is something to behold.

Marti and Mary Gee stopped by.  Above Marti shows her latest quilt.  She made this modern quilt for her brother.
Mary Gee quilted it for her.  Love this quilting design.

Above is another quilt that Marti made.  She may have been missing our Happy Scrappers meetings these past few months, but she's not just sitting around twiddling her thumbs.  Great job, Marti!

And, lastly, I want to show you my monster quilt that I made for my great grandson.  Hope he likes it!

NEW AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

I stopped in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop today to get some wide backing fabric for my great grandson's Monster quilt, and had to show you some of the new items just in. I get so easily distracted in this quilt shop that I almost forgot what I came in for.  I so wanted some of these (Above) beautiful batiks by Hoffman.

And look at these new books!  They are filled with adorable patterns.

You are certain to find just the right pattern in one of these books for that special someone on your gift list.  It's never too early to start thinking about Christmas!

NEW AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

It's time for Snowmen in July!!!  Who doesn't love snowmen, and this guy is adorable!!  You can get the panel at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.
And while there you can get these four coordinating fabrics.  The line is Things Are Looking Up by Kim Schaefer for Andover Fabrics.

These fabrics are Wildberry Creek by Renee Nanneman for Andover Fabrics.

This is a close up of the first fabric on the left.  Chris and I just love it!

Here are a few of the new books in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.

These fabrics are Once Upon A Time from Henry Glass & Co.  I may have shown them before but I just love them.

More books that you have to take a look at!

And you can get the 2023 Calendar too.
This calendar is full of projects and patterns that you will love making.  There is one for each month.

QUILTERS HAVE THE BIGGEST HEARTS

Hello Quilters!  Mary and I had a fun time sewing at Happy Scrappers at the Attic Window Quilt Shop on Wednesday.  We got so busy sewing and socializing that I forgot to take any pictures.  But Chris did send me these pictures.
These stunning quilts were made for charity by the charity group that meets the first Monday every month at the Attic Window.  I just love these quilts.  And it warms my heart that so many women are willing to help our community.  There are two other groups besides the Monthly Monday charity group that sew and donate quilts to charity.  I know people sew for Lori's Voice, and also another group sews quilts for Kids Without Beds.  Quilters are the BEST!

Don't forget The Attic Window Quilt Shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5; Saturday, 10-4.

Stop by tomorrow and I'll show you some of the new books and fabrics in at the shop.  You won't want to miss that.
