COUNTRY FAIR BARN QUILT ROAD TOUR

The Attic Window Quilt Shop is ready for the Country Fair Barn Quilt Road Tour.  When you enter the shop you are greeted by the above.
A country barn wouldn't be complete without some hay and a saddle.
or a cow!
I particularly like this sign!  How about you?
One of the first stops as you tour the shop is the demonstration table.
Above some shoppers watch and learn about new products.
Of course there is cider, coffee and donuts for everyone.
And there are games to play.

Another player takes a turn.
They were tossing fat quarters into baskets.
Everyone who played a game is a winner.  Each person received a coaster with the same design as the shop's quilt block.
Each participating shop will award a grand prize.  The bag above and the pattern, creative grids ruler, and jelly roll inside the bag, is the Attic Window Quilt Shop's award.

You don't want to miss this Tour.  The Country Fair Barn Quilt Road Tour continues through Saturday, September 21.  Participating shops are: New Ewe in Newaygo; Quilted Memories in Montague; Seven Sisters in Carson City; and the Attic Window Quilt Shop.

HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE FAIR

The Attic Window Quilt Shop was all decked out for the season during the Country Fair Road Tour this past weekend.

These are just some of the things you saw when you entered the shop.
Of course there were snacks, but there was also a demo.  This is the table runner that Diana showed you how to make.
Above is her demo board so you could see how all the pieces came together.
This Creative Grids Non-Slip Multi-Size 2 Peaks in 1, 6" Triangle ruler is what she used to make the table runner.  She also shows you several different ways to put the blocks together. This ruler is one you will use more than once!
Above, some customers watch Diana's demo.
Another customer plays a game and wins a prize.
I don't know what you call this game but when you get two balls tangled on the ladder, you win!
Another customer takes her turn and wins a prize too.

This is a busy time of year and if you missed the fun of this Country Fair Road Tour, you can take part in the Jingle Bell Hop next month.

COUNTRY FAIR ROAD TOUR

Be sure and take a peek at these adorable Fruit pincushions at the Attic Window Quilt Shop when you travel the Second Annual Country Fair Road Tour 2018 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 11, 12, and 13.
The pattern is by Heather Bailey and includes all the five pieces of fruit!  What a bargain.
You can also take a peek at Marilyn's latest pillow sample for the shop.  You will have plenty of time to make this for the "Big Night."
And you won't want to miss picking up some of these new Robert Kaufman fabrics for that next project you've been thinking about.
These Kaufman fabrics are awesome!

Stop by the shop this week and check out all the new fabrics and samples, grab a snack, play a game, have fun!  Hope to see you there.

COUNTRY FAIR ROAD TOUR A SUCCESS!

The Attic Window Quilt Shop participated with three other shops in a Country Fair Road Tour which took place last week.  I blogged about it here.
As promised, there was food and drink for everyone.
There were demonstrations.  Above Marilyn shows people how to use a new ruler.
She shows us the various cuts you make with the ruler.
Then she showed us how to put the pieces together to make this darling block.
She also showed us another way to use the ruler to make this block.
Above are the blocks with the ruler and the Beach Ball pattern.
And there were games.  Above, Lee Anne watches as a customer tries her luck.
 Another customer tried the toss.
These were in the basket of prizes given out.
As I walked around the Shop, I noticed some new items on display.  I love these above.
The patterns can be found in the above book, Harvest Time Quilting.
Above are more items that can be found in the book.
This is also something new.  The flowers are printed on the fabric.  You embroidery the outline and then color what you want.  Looks like fun to me.  You can get the fabric already stamped with the patterns at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  What a fun three days!!
