WHAT GIVES YOU THAT SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT?

Want to have some fun?  Take a class at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  I took a bag class from Marilyn this past week and not only had fun but had a wonderful sense of accomplishment.   The picture above shows the bag before I inserted the wire frame.
This was taken after the frame was inserted.  It reminds me of a Dopp Kit used during WWII.  But I love it.  There are pockets inside and lots of room and you get a wide open mouth with this zipper.
Another view.  Carter (8 years old) wants one in black.
I added some other items to my accomplishment list.  I put binding on some pieces I found when I cleaned my sewing room.
I also finished this project bag that I started several years ago.  It will be good for my current applique project.

WHO HAS MORE FUN THAN QUILTERS

Who says the Doll Bee doesn't have a lot of fun?  Julie, who heads the Doll Bee at the Attic Window Quilt Shop sent me this photo and I knew you would want to see it.  This is what Julie says, "Barb made this bra for a fund raiser at Holland's Tempting tables where folks bid on things including embellished bras."   How cute.  I bet she makes a lot of money on this bra!  Thanks Barb for being such a good sport. And thank you Julie for sending!
If you are interested in attending Julie's Doll Bee, they meet every Thursday morning at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and make dolls like these above.  What a fun group!
