I’d like to introduce you to Sue Christafferson, a new teacher at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Sue has a background is in graphic design and has been quilting and sewing for many years. She has tons of new ideas that she’d like to share with us. You can see a couple of them in the above picture, the bag and the small wristlet. She is using patterns from the book she is holding, “Every Day Home Made,” and will introduce them during her Lunch N Learn series which starts on Friday, May 18 from noon to four at the shop. Call the shop for details.
Sue has also offered to use her graphic design skills in redesigning the newsletter and developing Ads and flyers. Thank you, thank you, thank you Sue. Some of that stuff is way beyond my skills and I’m looking forward to what she does and to learning from her. She said she’d help with the blog too, so I’m looking forward to a whole new look here. Everyone please give Sue a big welcome!
DON’T FORGET:
NEW STITCH-IN: On the first, second, and third Tuesday nights of each month you can come to the shop, be with your friends, and finish those UFOs. Bring whatever you want to work on. Come stitch with Chris for a night of fun and friendship. I think the first stitch-in was last night, but you can attend the next one which starts at 6 p.m. on April 10th.
This is an old tutorial but one I've wanted to try for a long time. Hope over to Red Pepper Quilts and take a look. It's a real scrap buster.

I have that book. I tried to resist it for many months and finally bought it. Love it. I bet I would enjoy taking one of her classes. Keep us posted! ;-)
