HOW ABOUT SOME APPLIQUE?

The Applique Bee met last week at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above is the applique block that Lee Anne worked on.  I love this block!  It is from the Piece O Cake design that we've been working on.
Nancy shows us the quilt she finished.  It is for charity.  The last Friday of the month the Kids Quilts group meets to sew quilts for charity.
This is a close up of the center of Nancy's quilt.  Each quilt that is made has this center block.  Carol H. does the stitching for this center piece.  The group is looking for sewers.  The way I understand it, you will get a center piece with the stitched saying on it and the fabric to make a  quilt.  Stop by the shop for details.
Diana is working on an orange peel pincushion or sewing kit.  I'm not sure what it is going to be but am eager to see the finished project.
This is the block I worked on.  It is from a Piece O Cake design.
I've been putting all my blocks on the display board at the shop.  Can't wait to get this one completed.

Caroll your floral applique squares are devine! The flowers are delightfully whimsical and your chosen fabrics give them punch. That dotted background is perfect. Such a great quilt these blocks are going to make into!
