ROW BY ROW ABOUT TO BEGIN

Have you heard of the Row by Row Experience?  Above is the adorable quilt that Chris designed for the Attic Window Quilt Shop to distribute during the "experience."
This is a closer view of the quilt and the "license plate" which is also available for purchase.  The Row by Row Experience is like a nationwide shop hop with no fees, cards, or stamps.  You can read more about it here.
I think what makes this quilt unique is the clever way that Chris instructs you to make the spools of thread.
I'm not sure how it is done but you use small knitting needles (or another small object) and you sew over them until  you get the desired look.
This year’s theme is H2O.  Collect the patterns for free by visiting the shops during the summer - June 21 - September 8, 2015.
Kits are also available.  Above are samples of the background fabrics that will be provided in the Attic Window’s kits.

Take advantage and visit participating shops during your summer vacation.  Click on the Start Here tab to learn about the shops in your area or state or place you will be visiting.  For instance, click on the license plate for Michigan and you can see a list of the participating shops.

At the Row By Row Experience you can also download a free pattern for a tote bag from Timeless Treasures.  The link is on the front page, just scroll down.

DON’T FORGET:
  • Twilling Bee, Friday, 1 p.m.
  • UFO, Friday, 3 p.m.
  • Happy Scrappers, Saturday, 10 p.m.
Hope you have a fun weekend.
