When my great grandson came over I thought he might like to help me make more Monster blocks. I am using the pattern from Shiny Happy World. I also took her Craftsy class and recommend it highly. Anyway, this is the block my great grandson came up with. I quilted and bound it so he could hang it on his wall.
This is the block I made. I have nine of them completed and will start sewing the blocks together this week.

Marilyn’s and Chris’ quilt blocks are wonderful. And the monster blocks are terrifyingly fabulous! I imagine your great grandson is thrilled with his personal monster. The one you designed is so funny.
Nice blocks! I really love your monsters, Caroll!
