HAPPY SCRAPPERS MEET AT ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

I was unable to attend the recent Happy Scrappers meeting at the Attic Window Quilt Shop, so Cathy M. sent pictures.  Above, Janalee works on her blocks.  Wonder what she is making?
We know what Mary is working on.  Looks like she has a big jelly roll of 30s fabrics!  You go girl!
Nancy was in attendance.  Did she get her bag made?  I hope she brings it next month to show us.
I haven't seen Teri in a while and sorry I missed her.  Cathy said she and her friend were working on paper piecing.
Teri's friend, Chris, worked on paper piecing.  I hope they come back next month and show us what they are making.  I love paper piecing.
Thank you Cathy for sending the pictures.

Speaking of paper piecing, Cathy and I thought we'd start a paper piecing Bee.  Want to join?  It's a great way to use scraps, get precise lines, and have fun socializing and sharing.  We thought we'd start it on the fourth Wednesday of September.  Mark your calendar now!

Don't forget the Lunch and Learn on Saturday, July 27th.  I talked to Adrienne and she says that as well as bringing scraps, you should also bring a strip ruler.  She emphasized that the ruler should not be too long, to make it easier to manipulate.  After all, you will probably have small scraps.  She also asks that you bring a rotary cutter, small cutting mat, and sewing supplies (machine, scissors, pins, thread, etc.). Don't forget to call the shop to register so we will know how many to plan on for lunch.
