LUNCH AND LEARN WITH YOUR SCRAPS

I bet it is safe to say that you are like most quilters and have a pile of scraps similar to above. I buy my fabric at the Attic Window Quilt Shop; it's beautiful fabric and just don't have the heart to toss out those scraps.  I even have a friend who gives me her scraps and I love her for it.  save all my scraps knowing that I can use them...sometime.  Well, that sometime has come!
Come to the Happy Scrappers Lunch and Learn on Saturday, July 27 and learn how to make a lovely quilt like above out of your scraps.  What a joy you will get using leftover fabric that you have already paid for.  I think of it as a free quilt.  If you are wondering what you would do with such a quilt, I bet a child would love it, or a charity would be thrilled to get this quilt.  And you could show your husband and friends how frugal you are, making a quilt from scraps.
Bring your scraps, sewing machine and supplies and have lunch with us (lunch provided) as you socialize and sew and learn from Adrienne (above) how to use your scraps to make a quilt.  Call the Attic Window Quilt Shop to register (so we will know how many to expect for lunch).  See you there!

DON'T FORGET the 7th Annual Jingle Bells in July Hop began July 10 and runs through July 13.  You will get a free  pattern with your passport purchase.  Grand Prize:  Fifty Dollar gift certificate from each of the four participating shops for a grand total of $200.  Participating shops are:  Pressing Matters Quilt Shop in Holland; Queen Bee Quilt Shoppe in Grand Rapids; Quilted Memories Inc. in Montague; and the Attic Window Quilt Shop in Comstock Park.
