BET YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS

Marilyn Z. and I had a great time at the Attic Window Quilt Shop yesterday.  Above, she shows the wall hanging that she is working on.  I was teaching her my method of freezer paper applique.  I love the colors she has chosen for her flowers.

Above, Marilyn glue bastes the stems onto the background.
I have made her promise to let me see and take a picture of the finished project.  She will hand stitch the flowers and stems to the background and then quilt and add binding.  She's doing a  great job!
Melanie stopped in at the shop while we were there and showed us this stunning quilt that she had just finished.  The center is a panel called the Joys of Spring by Northcott.
The fabric and coordinating fabrics and the pattern can be found at the Attic Window Quilt Shop!

Don't forget:
  • You can pickup your project for any BOM or Sampler class that you were taking.  The projects will be ready for you any time during the month of July.
  • This month there will be open sewing on Fridays and Saturdays after the holiday.
  • Shop hours will remain the same during the month of July: Monday-Thursday, 10-5; Friday and Saturday, 10-3.
