OK, I admit it. I'm a proud great grandma! I had to show you my great grand girls and what they have been making for the holidays. I'm so proud and happy that their mother is teaching them to sew and do handwork. The youngest on the right made the Christmas stocking, and the oldest is learning embroidery. If you can't see it, this is what she is stitching, "Home is where the flowers grow." I wish they didn't live so far away so we could sew together. As it is, I've been spending the past week cleaning and organizing my sewing room, and in anticipation of their summer visit, setting aside fabric, patterns, and notions that I think they might like. Thanks for letting me indulge.
Be sure and check out the Attic Window Quilt Shop. I understand new fabric has arrived and, remember, there is still time to pick up an easy kit of a cute project for Christmas.
Store hours are Friday, 10-5; and Saturday, 10-4.

You have every reason to be a proud Grandma. I love seeing young children learning to sew and hand stitch. They’re doing a great job of it.
How cute. What great girls they are.
Lovely girls, so happy for you Caroll! Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas and every bit of health and happiness all of you can muster throughout the new year! Love and hugs from Germany, Bobbi
You should be proud, they are two cuties....it is so fun to know that the craft of sewing is being passed on. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
