This Blooming Hearts tablerunner is stunning. Can’t you see it in your home? I can in mine. The Attic Window Quilt Shop has this pattern by Waltzing With Bears which also includes a pillow pattern. The wool is beautiful but I can also see this pattern made in cottons, maybe 30’s fabrics or brights.
I am going to have to take a class and learn to work with wool. The Knotty Girls stitching group is always working on such beautiful wool projects. Maybe I’m just afraid of all the embellishments they do to make their pieces so awesome.
How about you? Do you work with wool? Here is a cute tutorial for a wool luggage tag. Prairie Point Junction has some great tips for working with and preparing your wool. Wee Folk Art has a tutorial on making felted marbles. There is still time to make these and put them in your Easter baskets.
Stay Positive!

That is so fabulous!!
Lovely runner. I have a little wool but I don't play with it very often.
Working with wool can be fun and interesting to work with. Hope that you take a class. The runner is lovely.
Have a super great sewing and stitching day.
That IS pretty - I'd do it in brights, I think - I can't work with wool, I'm allergic. But I love it!
I love wool. It's probably one of my most favorite handwork projects!
