WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN SNOWED IN?

I have heard that you should look for the good in everything.  So instead of moaning and groaning about this weather, I decided to tackle a project in my sewing room.  After much agonizing I decided to finish the Charity Quilt that the Happy Scrappers started.  Members contributed the blocks and I said I would put it together and quilt it.  I have been putting off that finishing business because I couldn’t decide on a layout.  I made one more improve block (above).
Then I put the quilt together like this.  I love how it looks. The pattern is Converging Corners and you can find it at Film In The Fridge. The quilt is now ready to be quilted.  Since we are again snowed in and being told to “stay off the roads,” I hope to start the quilting today.  I would advise people to call the shop to verify if a class is being held.  It looks like this weather won’t let up until Wednesday.  Ugh!  Oh, well, we can get lots of sewing done.  What are you working on?

I love every converging corners quilt I see. It's such a magical design with such a delightful outcome. This one is so bright and cheerful, it can't help but make any weather seem trivial in comparison. Snow day(s) time well spent Caroll!
