A LITTLE WIGGLY WHIMSY

A year or so ago Terry’s Treasures had a sew-along.  I participated and guess what?  I finally finished the quilt!  If I recall correctly the pattern is Wiggly Whimsy and was free on Moda Bake Shop.  I first posted about it here and here.  I can't believe I started this two years ago!
I’m glad I finally finished it and like the crisp look of the white with all those little colors.  Terry is having another sew along this year.  Check out her blog here.  I wanted to participate in this one but knew I didn’t have the time.  Maybe someday as I really like the pattern she has chosen.
This is a close up so you can see my quilting.  I have to be honest with you.  I finished this a little over a week ago.  I'm not getting much done this week as my allergies are giving me headaches.  I can't believe this.  I've never had allergies before and now that I'm an old lady, these past three years I've been having allergy problems.  You know what they say...it's no fun getting old.  Then of course, my brother always reminds me to, "consider the alternatives."  He's right, so I'm going to go for a walk and count my blessings.  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

DON’T FORGET
  • SALE ALL THIS WEEK!

Oh my goodness that is darling- and I love the quilting! Well done, no matter how long it took! I hear ya on the allergies - when I was a kid, I was allergic to EVERYTHING, couldn't even sit in the grass on the lawn. In 6th grade, I got my appendix out, and go figure all my allergies disappeared. But now that I'm older, they're back....sigh.

What a happy and fun quilt you've made! I love all that white surrounding all the bits of color. About the aging thing.., we all get our turn at it. Concentrate on living life and don't sweat the small stuff. Easy to say by someone who does not suffer from allergies, eh?....just other old people stuff instead. LoL
