"The mammy doll is from Gail Wilson's historical doll series. The dolls in this series are American folk style dolls. This doll in particular is a 13" tall flatt bottom table topper mammy style doll with embroidered facial features. Patterns are available at Gail Wilson Designs.
Anyone
interested in the class will need to get their own pattern, body fabric, and
stuffing from Gail Wilson prior the the class. Pattern is $20. Class
will be Thursdays in June. 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Class fee is $50 for the
four weeks, or five if they need more time, but she is pretty quick. If things go well,
I’ll offer this class again in summer. Mine is on the left, Shirley’s is
on the right. Julie"
Thanks Julie for sharing. I can't get over the wonderful dolls you and your Bee members make!
DON'T FORGET: The Search For The Stars Hollywood Style is now in progress. You can read all about it here.
