TEACHERS MEET AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

A teacher's meeting was recently held at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above, left to right, Chris B., Vickie D., Lee Anne K., peeking over Lee Anne's shoulder is Marilyn K., Vickie S., Sue C., Cathy M., and Caroll D.
Chris (owner) had some announcements:
  •  Now that that inventory is completed, she has lots of new bolts of fabric marked down to $8.00 per yard!
  • There is an additional 50% off on special already marked down items: fabrics, books, patterns, notions, and samples.
  • An End of Bolt sale is going on.  When you buy what is left on the bolt of specific fabrics, you get 30% off that fabric.

The teachers shared what they are working on.  Above is the bag that Marilyn made and will be teaching a class on  how to make it.  The pattern, Trifecta Zip Bags comes in 6 sizes and is by Emmaline Bags.
I'm not sure who made this, but this pattern is quite interesting as it is reversible.  Above is one side, and
This is the other side.  So pretty! The pattern is Flower Petals Table Settings by Wonder Woman Quilts.

Marilyn showed us her latest finished quilt.  This pattern is Tibet by Villa Rosa Designs.
Note:  You may get all the above patterns at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Just call the shop and those you want will be ordered for you.
This beautiful block was made by Vickie S.  She said she is participating in the Floragraphix Batiks BOM Enchanted Garden.  I'm eager to see it finished!

A Few More Announcements:
  • A New Beginning Embroidery Class will begin on Feb. 20, at 11 a.m.  There are two teachers, one for right handed people, and one for left handed people.
  • Don't forget the Heart of Winter Bus Tour on Feb. 9.  You spend the day visiting the New Ewe in Newaygo; Pressing Matters in Holland; Quilted Memories in Montague; and the Attic Window Quilt Shop in Comstock Park.  When you purchase your ticket you will receive a free book, shop at a discount, enjoy demonstrations and more!
